The People Behind the Barn

A Family-Run Venue, Not a Franchise

We're a family business in the truest sense. The Heritage Barn is run by two families, Megan and Erik and Joe and Lindsay, each with three kids who keep life busy. We love celebrating life's special moments, and we built The Heritage Barn to create space for others to do the same.

Though we're not originally from here, we fell in love with this community - and with the idea of giving couples a place to gather the people they love.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

The space can accommodate 150 people indoors and up to 350 when using indoor and outdoor space.

Do I have to use an approved vendors list?

We have a preferred vendors list but you can hire your own vendors if you’d rather. We just ask that each vendor is licensed and insured.

Are there any restrictions on decorations?

Confetti and glitter aren't permitted (a $500 cleaning fee applies if they're used). A limited number of real flame candles are allowed.

Do you offer on-site coordination or event planning services?

Absolutely. Every package includes on-site support. Essential comes with a dedicated venue representative for planning and the wedding day, and our Classic and Heritage packages include a dedicated wedding coordinator.

Can we host both the ceremony and reception at the venue?

Yes! Your ceremony can be at any of our three outdoor ceremony sites or inside the barn. Reception will be in the barn and surrounding covered patios.

What time can we start setting up, and how late can the event go?

Personal items and alcohol can be dropped off the night before. Depending on your package, you'll have 9 to 12 hours of exclusive access on your wedding day, and more time can be added. Events end at 11 PM, with personal items cleared out by then. A later end time may be available for an additional fee.
